Best Roblox Games Right Now: 12 Picks Backed by Live Player Data

Updated Oct 22, 2026·Player snapshot 6:21 p.m. PT·Verified on Roblox’s official Charts

The best Roblox games right now are Steal An Egg, Murder Mystery 2, RIVALS and 99 Nights in the Forest. Steal An Egg is also the most played game on the platform: Roblox’s own data showed 854,222 people in it at 6:21 p.m. PT on October 22, 2026, with Murder Mystery 2 second at 660,013.

A player count tells you what’s popular, not what fits you. So the 12 picks below weigh both: how many people are in each game today and how much it gives back once you’re inside. Still learning the platform itself? Start with our Roblox guide for 2026, then come back and pick a game.

Which Roblox Games Have the Most Players Right Now?

Steal An Egg, Murder Mystery 2 and Brookhaven RP had the most players on Roblox on the evening of October 22, 2026, and they were the only three games above 300,000. Below them the field gets tight: spots 4 through 15 sit within about 100,000 players of each other.

One snapshot never tells the whole story. Counts swing with the time of day, weekends and update days. DOORS is the perfect example: it had about 17,000 players on the night of October 21 and 95,662 a day later, right after its Candy Vault event went live. That’s why every number on this page carries a date and an hour.

Which Roblox Game Should You Play?

Pick by how you like to play, not by the chart. Here’s the short version, matched to the kind of session you’re after.

Why Is Steal An Egg the Most Popular Roblox Game?

Steal An Egg sits on top because it’s simple, fast and constantly changing: you steal eggs from other players’ bases, hatch them into pets and push your Speed so you can grab rarer eggs before someone grabs yours. It only launched on July 25, 2026, and it already passed 9 billion visits on its official Roblox page.

Servers hold just 7 players, so every raid feels personal. New content drops on most Saturdays, and Update 8 added mounts on October 10. Two things confuse newcomers. First, the game has no codes at all, though a few free rewards do exist, and our Steal An Egg codes page explains them. Second, Break and Steal an Egg, 12th on the chart, is a different game from a different studio. Pets, updates and tips for the original live in our Steal An Egg hub.

Is Murder Mystery 2 Still Worth Playing in 2026?

Yes. Murder Mystery 2 came out in January 2014, making it the oldest game in today’s top 15, and it was still the second most played game on Roblox on October 22, 2026, with 660,013 people online. One player gets a knife, one gets a gun and everyone else gets a reason to run, which is why it takes a minute to learn and a long time to put down.

It’s also in the middle of its biggest event of the year. Halloween 2026 runs until November 16, swaps coins for Candies and adds a 30-tier Battle Pass and a new map, Haunted House 2. Our MM2 Halloween guide works out what the Battle Pass costs in Candies, and the Murder Mystery 2 hub pulls codes, events and tips into one place.

What’s the Best Roblox Game to Play With Friends?

99 Nights in the Forest is the best Roblox game to play with friends right now, because surviving that forest alone is close to impossible. My brother and I play it together, and it’s the one game on this list where splitting the jobs (wood, food, the campfire, finding the missing kids) decides whether you see the next morning. Servers hold up to 25 players, it won Best Survival Game at the Roblox Innovation Awards 2026, and it had 115,497 people online on October 22. Our 99 Nights in the Forest guide covers the kids, classes and events.

If your group wants something else, two picks stand out. DOORS is a co-op horror run through randomized hotel rooms, and its Candy Vault event lasts until November 9. Flee the Facility puts one player in the role of the Beast while four others try to unlock the exits and escape. Its official page says it runs on phones, tablets, PC, Xbox and PlayStation, which makes it the easiest choice when your friends all play on different devices. Want more scary co-op games? What’s the Best Competitive Roblox Game?

RIVALS is the best competitive game on Roblox: first-person duels from 1v1 up to 5v5, where the first side to win 5 rounds takes the match. It has more than 95 million favorites, over three times as many as any other game on today’s chart, and 150,532 players were online on October 22.

Its Halloween update, RIVALSWEEN (Update 24), runs until November 7 and brings an event Candy currency, a returning Zombie Tower and a new Gargoyle Tower to climb. Queue up from the official RIVALS page, and keep an eye on our RIVALS hub for weapons and codes.

Rather punch than aim? Jujutsu Shenanigans is the biggest anime-style battlegrounds game right now (144,062 players), and its Halloween Update goes live on October 23 at 5 p.m. ET. Murderers VS Sheriffs Duels takes the Murder Mystery 2 idea and turns it into straight 1v1 to 3v3 gunfights; it pulled 87,846 players on October 22.

What Are the Best Chill Roblox Games?

Brookhaven RP, Adopt Me!, Dress To Impress and Fisch are the best Roblox games for low-pressure sessions, and all four have Halloween content this season.

• Brookhaven RP: a town built for roleplay, with houses, cars and no objectives. It has 88.8 billion visits, the most of any game in today’s top 25. Its Halloween event starts October 23 at 2 p.m. ET and runs to November 6.
• Adopt Me!: raise pets, decorate a house and trade. Halloween Week 4 lands on October 23, and our Adopt Me! Halloween guide lists every event pet and its price. The rest is in the Adopt Me! hub.
• Dress To Impress: build an outfit for each theme, walk the runway and let the server vote. Halloween runs until November 7, and a second event, Tales of the Dark King, starts October 24. See the Dress To Impress hub.
• Fisch: cast, catch and sell across a chain of islands. FischFright 3 is live until November 9, and our Fisch codes page lists three codes tested in-game that add up to 726 Treats. Guides are collected in the Fisch hub. Fish It!, a different fishing game, had slightly more players on October 22 (69,088 against 63,620).

What’s the Best Roblox RPG to Grind?

Blox Fruits is still the best Roblox RPG for a long grind, with a level cap of 3,000, 42 official fruits and three seas to work through. It isn’t the giant it was a few months ago (117,001 players on October 22), but Update 30 rebuilt the first sea on September 5, 2026, and a Halloween event is scheduled for October 31. Before you spend Beli on a fruit, check our Blox Fruits tier list. Everything else is in the Blox Fruits hub.

Which Roblox Games Have Halloween Events Right Now?

Eleven of our 12 picks have a Halloween event live or about to start, and most of them end in the first half of November. Here they are in the order they close, taken from each game’s official event listing on Roblox:

1. Oct 24: Steal An Egg’s Halloween Dimension ends, and 99 Nights in the Forest’s Trick or Treat Part 1 closes at 8 a.m. ET.
2. Oct 30: Adopt Me!’s Halloween Week 4 window closes at 11:45 a.m. ET. Uplift Games hasn’t posted a final end time, so finish your pets before then.
3. Oct 31: Blox Fruits’ Halloween event is scheduled to start.
4. Nov 2: rewards from The Hollow, Roblox’s own Halloween event, close at 3 p.m. ET. Our The Hollow event guide tracks each night’s monster.
5. Nov 6: Brookhaven RP’s Halloween event ends at 12:44 p.m. ET.
6. Nov 7: RIVALSWEEN ends at midnight ET (the night of Nov 6), and Dress To Impress Halloween ends at 11 a.m. ET.
7. Nov 9: DOORS’ Candy Vault ends at 12:55 a.m. ET, and Fisch’s FischFright 3 ends at noon ET.
8. Nov 16: Murder Mystery 2’s Halloween 2026 event ends at 1 p.m. ET.
9. Nov 23: Jujutsu Shenanigans’ Halloween Update event ends at 5 p.m. ET.

Times are converted from the UTC times on the official listings, and clocks fall back on November 1, so November times are in EST. New events and surprise extensions show up first in our Roblox news and events page.

Which Popular Roblox Games Didn’t Make the List?

Grow a Garden, Steal a Brainrot and The Strongest Battlegrounds were all huge at one point, but none of them was in Roblox’s top 25 at our October 22 snapshot, so they’re not here. Two newer games are climbing fast: Break and Steal an Egg (72,595 players, launched in September 2026) and Anime Dice (67,300, launched in August 2026). New Roblox games can fade as quickly as they rise, so we’d rather see them hold their numbers for a full month before ranking them.

How Did We Pick These Games?

We pulled Roblox’s Top Playing Now chart for the US and each game’s official data (players online, visits, developer, release date) at the same moment: 6:21 p.m. PT on October 22, 2026. Then we weighed depth: how long a game keeps giving you something new, how often its developer updates it, whether you can enjoy it without spending Robux and whether it’s better with friends. That’s why RIVALS ranks above Brookhaven RP with half the players, and why The Hollow, an event hub rather than a game you return to, isn’t on the list. How we check every number is explained in our editorial policy.

Best Roblox Games FAQ

What is the most visited Roblox game?

Brookhaven RP has the most visits of any game in Roblox’s top 25 right now, with 88.8 billion as of October 22, 2026. Blox Fruits (65.1 billion) and Adopt Me! (45.2 billion) follow.

Are the best Roblox games free?

Yes. Every game on this list is free to play. Robux only buys optional extras like game passes, cosmetics and boosts.

What’s a good Roblox game for beginners?

Murder Mystery 2 and Flee the Facility are the easiest starts, because each round is short and the goal is obvious. If you’d rather explore without pressure, Brookhaven RP has no rules to learn at all.

Do these games have codes?

Some do. 99 Nights in the Forest and Fisch have working codes, Murder Mystery 2 has a code box with no active codes, and Steal An Egg has no code system. Our Roblox codes hub shows the status for each game.

Why are some games with fewer players ranked higher?

Because players aren’t the only thing that matters. A game like RIVALS gives you a skill to improve and a reason to come back, while a bigger game may be popular for a single mechanic or a short trend.
