How Do We Rank Items in a Roblox Tier List?
We rank items by combining what several up-to-date tier lists agree on, then checking every change against the official patch notes and the game’s own data, like its item list and prices. No one can master every meta at once, so a consensus of three or four current lists for the same update beats one person’s hot take. Where the sources disagree, we name the item and explain both sides.
We also split rankings by what you’re actually doing. The best fruit for PvP is rarely the best one for grinding levels, so each list has its own tables for fights, farming and bosses.
What Do S, A, B, C and D Tiers Mean?
Each tier tells you how much an item is worth chasing in the current update:
- S+: the best in the game right now. Worth grinding or saving for.
- S: top picks that are only a step behind S+, or the best at one specific job.
- A: strong and reliable. You won’t regret using these.
- B: solid for most of the game but outclassed late.
- C: usable early on or in niche builds; replace them when you can.
- D: skip unless you just like how they look or play.
How Often Do Roblox Tier Lists Change?
Roblox tier lists change whenever a game ships a balance patch or a big update, because a single buff or nerf can move an item two tiers overnight. Blox Fruits’ Balance Patch 001 on August 6, 2026, which buffed the awakened Dark fruit, is exactly the kind of change that triggers a re-rank. Each of our lists names the update it was ranked for and says what moved.
