Adopt Me! Halloween 2026 Event Guide: Every Pet, the Crypt and Candy Corn

Updated Halloween Week 3Verified on the official Adopt Me! page on Roblox

Adopt Me!’s Halloween 2026 event is live until the end of October, and its fourth and final week starts on October 23 at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. ET). So far it has 13 limited pets, from the free Mummy Spider at the bottom of the Crypt to the 120,000 Candy Corn Skelicorn, paid for with Candy Corn, Crypt Keys or Robux.

With roughly a week left, the real question is what you can still afford before the shops close. Uplift Games has run Adopt Me! since 2017, and 183,188 players were online on October 22 at 3:31 p.m. PT, so the Crypt and minigame queues stay busy. If you’re coming back to the platform after a break, here’s everything you need to know about Roblox first.

What Came Out in Each Week of Adopt Me Halloween 2026?

Adopt Me! Halloween 2026 adds a new area, minigame and pet lineup every week (on Friday mornings since Week 2), and nothing from earlier weeks has been removed. That means everything below is still on sale right now:

  1. Week 1, October 3: the Manor opens with the Ghost Gallery minigame, plus the Crypt next door. New pets: Mummy Spider, Jacobin Pigeon, Jumpscare and the Robux-only Jester Dragon.
  2. Week 2, October 9: the Hotel’s Hauntlet 2 door-picking minigame arrives with Bolt, Skelicorn and the Poltergeist Box (Caramelgeist, Bobageist, Bubblegeist).
  3. Week 3, October 16: the Carnival opens with Stitches’ Spotlight, a grab-and-hide minigame. New pets: Stitches, Boohoo, Shoebill and the Robux-only Copycat.
  4. Week 4, October 23: “Halloween: Where Bear? Returns” goes live at 8 a.m. PT, according to Adopt Me!’s official update countdown. Its pets and prices haven’t been revealed yet.

When Does the Adopt Me Halloween Event End?

Adopt Me! hasn’t posted an exact end time for Halloween 2026, but plan on finishing by the morning of Friday, October 30. The community wiki lists October 31 as the last day. Adopt Me!’s own event calendar on Roblox, though, closes the Week 4 window on October 30 at 8:45 a.m. PT (11:45 a.m. ET), right when the next weekly update would normally drop.

That pattern matters because it’s how the last Halloween played out. In 2024, the official calendar ended the Halloween event on a Friday morning, November 1, the same slot a new update took over. Nobody outside Uplift knows yet whether the 2026 event survives one extra day, so don’t leave a 100,000 Candy Corn purchase for Saturday.

Which Adopt Me Halloween Pets Can You Get, and What Do They Cost?

Eleven of the 13 Adopt Me! Halloween 2026 pets cost no Robux at all; only the Jester Dragon and the Copycat are Robux-only. Here’s every pet released through Week 3, with its price and the step that trips most players up:

PetRarityCostHow to get it
Mummy SpiderRareFreeReach the bottom of the Crypt (level 4)

BoltUncommon10,000 Candy CornHotel

BoohooRare32,000 Candy CornHotel

SkelicornLegendary120,000 Candy CornFind the Lightning Lever in the Crypt first

BubblegeistLegendary13,000 Candy Corn per boxPoltergeist Box, 4% chance
CopycatLegendary600 RobuxRobux only
Jester DragonLegendary1,000 RobuxCarnival, Robux only

The Poltergeist Box is the only gamble in the event. Each 13,000 Candy Corn box gives one pet, and the odds are printed on the sign next to it in the Hotel lobby. At 4%, the average player needs about 25 boxes to see a Bubblegeist, which is more Candy Corn than two Skelicorns.

How Does the Adopt Me Crypt Work?

The Adopt Me! Crypt is a four-level dungeon next to the Manor where each Crypt Key opens one coffin. A coffin holds Candy Corn, a quest item (Twig, Lightning Lever, Lost Sock or Headphones) or the ladder to the next level, and the ladder on level 4 leads to the free Mummy Spider.

Here’s the part the game never tells you: the Crypt collapses and resets the moment you claim the Mummy Spider. If you still need items from it, that run is gone. Work it in this order instead:

  1. Open extra coffins on each level until you have 8 Crypt Twigs for the Jacobin Pigeon’s nest.
  2. Keep digging for the Lightning Lever if you’re saving for Skelicorn.
  3. Collect 3 Lost Socks and 1 Headphones if you want the Shoebill.
  4. Only then take the ladder on level 4 and claim the Mummy Spider.
  5. Run the reset Crypt again for another Mummy Spider. Four of them make a Neon at the Neon Cave.

Once you’ve collected all eight Twigs, the Lever, three Socks and the Headphones, they stop dropping, so later runs are just Candy Corn and spiders.

Where Do You Get Crypt Keys in Adopt Me?

You get Crypt Keys from the event Task Board (up to four a day), from beating the Ghost Gallery boss (one key) and from getting deep into Hauntlet 2 (up to two keys for a full escape). Some guides call them Rusty Keys; it’s the same item.

Keys are the real bottleneck of the event, not Candy Corn. Four levels need at least four keys just to find every ladder, and any coffin that turns up Candy Corn instead of a ladder costs you one more. Claim your Task Board keys every day, because a day you skip is a day of keys you can’t get back.

Pro tip: if you’re a couple of keys short on the last weekend, go for a full Hauntlet 2 escape. It’s the only source that hands out two keys in a single run.

Which Halloween Minigame Gives the Most Candy Corn?

Hauntlet 2 pays the most per run, up to 21,000 Candy Corn for escaping all 50 rooms, but Ghost Gallery is the steadier earner because a decent round always pays something. Here’s how the Candy Corn sources compare:

SourceWhereBest payoutExtra
Hauntlet 2Hotel elevator21,000 Candy Corn for a full escapeUp to 500 Bucks and 2 Crypt Keys
Ghost GalleryManorUp to 5,000 Candy Corn, based on score1 Crypt Key if the boss goes down
Stitches’ SpotlightCarnival tentThe Candy Corn you’re still holding at the endGet caught in a spotlight and you drop it
Pet needsAnywhere200 Candy Corn per needDo them while you wait in queues
Stray CatEvent area50 Candy Corn once per in-game dayGive it a real food item

How do you survive Hauntlet 2?

You survive Hauntlet 2 by treating your three hearts as the whole budget: every ghost behind a door costs a heart, and two or three ghosts cost two or three. Rooms 1 to 40 offer three doors, the final ten offer four, and every ten rooms you pick an elevator to a themed floor. The Phone doesn’t show you a safe door. It marks a door with a ghost behind it, so read it as “not that one.” Save your Heart Potion and Rainbow Wand for rooms 41 to 50, where one bad pick can end the run.

Ghost Gallery rounds last 150 seconds. For the first 75, small ghosts hide inside the furniture, up to three per piece, and your equipped pet helps point out the haunted ones, so bring a pet and don’t waste shots on empty cabinets. Then the boss comes out with a four-part health bar, and each time a part breaks it splits into small ghosts you have to clear first. Back off when it spins: getting knocked across the room costs you score. The 29 Robux Pro Ghost Blaster hits harder, but it’s not required.

How does Stitches’ Spotlight work?

Stitches’ Spotlight is a roughly two-minute round inside the Carnival tent where you grab Candy Corn while Stitches sweeps the floor with spotlights. Get caught and you lose what you’ve picked up that round. Hide behind the target boards, but keep moving, because Stitches knocks them down as the round goes on. The launch pads move you between the upper and lower floors, and the magnet and speed pickups are worth grabbing.

What Should You Buy With Your Candy Corn Before Halloween Ends?

Lock in the free and cheap pets first, then pick one big target and stop. Splitting your Candy Corn between Stitches, Skelicorn and a few Poltergeist Boxes is how players end October with three half-finished goals. Uplift hasn’t said Candy Corn carries over, so plan to spend all of it.

Are the Robux Halloween Pets Worth It?

Only if you want them for themselves. The Jester Dragon costs 1,000 Robux and the Copycat 600, and neither one helps you earn Candy Corn or keys. The Copycat’s party trick is a built-in random transformation into the look of another pet, so you can’t pick what it becomes.

Verdict: if you’re going to spend any Robux on Adopt Me! Halloween, the 50 Robux Candy Corn gamepass is the best value by far. It works on every minigame, pet need and Stray Cat visit, and it’s a twentieth of the Jester Dragon’s price.

Heads up: every Halloween pet becomes limited once the event closes, which makes the last week prime time for trading scams. Never give a pet first to “prove trust,” never type your password into a site that promises free Halloween pets, and remember that buying Adopt Me! pets for real money outside the game breaks Roblox’s rules. Once both players accept a trade, it can’t be undone.

Adopt Me Halloween 2026 FAQ

Is the Mummy Spider free in Adopt Me?

Yes. The Mummy Spider costs no Candy Corn or Robux; you only need enough Crypt Keys to reach level 4 of the Crypt and claim it.

Can you get more than one Mummy Spider?

Yes. The Crypt resets every time you claim the Mummy Spider, so each new run to level 4 gives another one, as long as you have the keys.

What time does Adopt Me Halloween Week 4 come out?

Week 4, “Halloween: Where Bear? Returns,” goes live on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8 a.m. PT, 11 a.m. ET and 3 p.m. UTC, per Adopt Me!’s official countdown.

What happens to the Halloween pets after the event?

They become limited pets. Once the event closes, the Halloween shops and the Poltergeist Box disappear, and trading is the only way to get them.
