The Hollow is Roblox’s 2026 Halloween event: a free survival game where a new monster from a famous Roblox horror game hunts you every day for nine days. What Is The Hollow on Roblox?
The Hollow is a nine-day Halloween survival event hosted by Roblox inside a single event hub, where players explore a new maze each day while that day’s monster chases them. Unlike past Roblox events such as The Hunt, The Hollow does not send you hopping between different games to finish tasks. Everything happens in one place: you search the maze for clues, complete quests and try to survive. Roblox says the map becomes more unsettling and twisted as the nine days go on, so the later nights of The Hollow should be the hardest. The event celebrates horror, one of the most popular genres on Roblox, and every monster comes from a game you can play right now. Which Monsters Are in The Hollow?
The Hollow has nine confirmed monsters, each taken from a popular Roblox horror game, including The Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest, Seek from DOORS and Piggy from Piggy. The Deer opened the event on night one, and the rest are expected to follow in the same order Roblox listed them in its announcement.

When Does Each Monster Appear in The Hollow?
One new monster appears in The Hollow each day from October 22 to October 30, followed by the live finale on October 31. Night 1 belongs to The Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest. For the other nights, the table shows the monster we expect based on the order in Roblox’s announcement; Roblox hasn’t confirmed that order day by day, so each night only flips to “Live” once that monster is actually in the maze.

How Do You Join The Hollow?
To join The Hollow, update the Roblox app, log in after 2 p.m. PT on October 22, and open the event hub from the Roblox home screen. The event is free for any Roblox or Roblox Select account aged 9 and older in most regions.
- Update the Roblox app on your device (PC, mobile, console or Meta Quest).
- Log in after 2 p.m. PT on October 22, or after noon PT with an active Roblox Plus subscription.
- Open The Hollow event hub from the Roblox home screen or the event banner.
- Accept the day’s quests, then explore the maze, collect clues and avoid the monster.
- Return every day: each night adds a new maze, a new monster and new quests.
Roblox notes that age limits and access to The Hollow can vary by region.
What Rewards Can You Get in The Hollow?
The Hollow rewards players with exclusive UGC avatar items for completing quests, plus in-event rewards that help you survive later nights. Roblox has not published the full reward list yet, so we add every item and how to unlock it as soon as it appears in the hub. Are the Halloween Marketplace items free?
No. The limited-time Halloween avatar items Roblox is selling on the Marketplace, including the Hollow Horseman, extra accessories and seasonal makeup looks, cost Robux. They are separate from the free quest rewards in The Hollow.
Do You Need Roblox Plus to Play The Hollow?
No. The Hollow and all of its quest rewards are free for every player. Roblox Plus subscribers only get three extras:
- Early access to the event hub at noon PT on October 22, two hours before everyone else.
- An exclusive profile frame and background that stay on your profile after the event.
- An item launcher for gifting items to other players during the event.
How Do You Survive The Hollow?
The best way to survive The Hollow is to learn each monster in its original game, scout the maze exits before collecting clues, and play every day so you never fall behind on quests. We add monster-specific strategies as each night goes live.
- Learn the monster in its home game. Every monster comes from a real game, so a few minutes in DOORS, Piggy or 99 Nights in the Forest shows you how it moves.
- Play early in the day. Servers are busiest right after each night’s reset and around the creator livestreams.
- Scout before you loot. Map the exits of each maze before chasing clues.
- Use headphones. Sound cues matter a lot in horror games.
- Don’t skip a day. New quests arrive daily, and catching up at the end is harder.
- Watch the creator streams. Creators including LimaMosca, KreekCraft, Bundun and SirDapper are livestreaming from inside The Hollow every day to uncover clues.
When Is The Hollow Live Finale?
The Hollow live finale starts on the morning of Saturday, October 31, 2026, for all players. Roblox has not announced the exact time yet, and we will post it here as soon as it is confirmed. You can keep collecting rewards after the finale until noon PST on November 2.

When does The Hollow end?
The Hollow ends at noon PST (3 p.m. EST) on November 2, 2026, the last moment to collect rewards. Dates like November 5 or November 9 that circulated before launch are wrong.
Are there codes for The Hollow?
No. The Hollow rewards come only from completing quests. Any “Hollow code” or free Robux offer tied to the event is a scam.
