There are no working Adopt Me! codes as of October 30, 2026. We took the 10 codes other sites still list as active into the Code Redemption Kiosk that day, and every single one failed. The last real code, PROUDFROG, ran for about two weeks in June 2026.

So if a list promises you free pets or Bucks from a code right now, it’s recycling codes from 2023 to 2025. Which Adopt Me Codes Did We Test?

We tested every code that the biggest code lists were still calling active on October 30, 2026, plus the older ones that keep circulating. None of them worked. Some came back with a 401 error, some with a 404 and the rest said the code had expired, which tells you these lists simply never took them down.

A few of these deserve extra suspicion. A code that hands out a “rare pet” would be a huge deal in a game whose whole economy runs on pet rarity, and we couldn’t find it anywhere official. When a list mixes real old codes with ones like that, treat the whole list as unchecked.

Where Do You Redeem Codes in Adopt Me?

Codes go into the Code Redemption Kiosk, held by Agent Ruhi, the man in black inside the Safety Hub on Adoption Island. There’s no code box in the main menu or on a website, which trips up a lot of players. The fastest way there is to teleport from your backpack:

1. Open your backpack.
2. Tap the food tab, the hamburger icon on the left side.
3. Press the + button and choose to teleport to the supermarket.
4. Walk out of the supermarket and turn left.
5. Enter the first building on your left, the Safety Hub.
6. Talk to Agent Ruhi, the man in black on the left, to open the kiosk.
7. Paste the code exactly as written and press Redeem.

Prefer to walk? From the Adoption Island tunnel, follow the path right, cross the bridge and look for the white building with golden scales on the roof. It’s the same building where you take the Trade License test.

How Often Does Adopt Me Release Codes?

Rarely. Uplift Games drops a handful of codes a year at most, usually tied to a milestone, a collab or a live event, and each one tends to work for days or a couple of weeks, not months. PROUDFROG in June was the only code the community tracked in 2026 before it expired.

History says to expect small rewards when one does show up: short double Bucks and aging boosts, a sticker, a toy or the occasional vehicle. Codes have never been how you get good pets in this game; eggs, events and trading are. New codes are announced on the game’s official social channels, which you can reach from the links on its Roblox page.

How Can You Get Free Stuff in Adopt Me Without Codes?

Right now, through the end of Halloween. Two official events this week hand out more than any recent code ever did, and both are on the game’s official Roblox event list.

• Saturday, October 31, 12 p.m. ET (9 a.m. PT): Adopt Me! Admin Abuse. Uplift Games bills it as freebies and chaos and as Halloween’s big finale, and it only runs for about 30 minutes, so join a few minutes early.

How Can You Tell an Adopt Me Code Is Fake?

If it promises a pet, Robux or anything you have to “verify” on a website, it’s fake. Real Adopt Me! codes only work in the in-game kiosk and have always paid out small, cosmetic or temporary rewards.

• Legendary or Neon pets from a code: never happened. Pets come from eggs, events and trades.
• Free Robux: no game code can give Robux. Anything that says otherwise is a scam.
• “Enter your username to claim”: outside sites that ask for your username or password are after your account.
• “Checked today” next to a 2023 code: our test shows how little that label means on most lists.

Why do Adopt Me codes give a 401 or 404 error?

The game doesn’t explain the difference. In our test, some dead codes came back with a 401 error, some with a 404 and others with a plain expired message. Any of the three means the code won’t work, and retrying it won’t change that.

Can you redeem Adopt Me codes on mobile and console?

Yes. The kiosk lives inside the game, so it works the same on phone, tablet, PC and console. Only the button you press to talk to Agent Ruhi changes.

Will Adopt Me release a Halloween code?

No Halloween 2026 code has been announced as of October 30. If one appears, it will most likely show up around a live moment like the Admin Abuse on October 31, and we’ll add it here once we’ve tested it in the game.
